Rice. Surely the final offer he received was reasonable?
He's worth an unquestionable amount considering his age and consistency and 2 nations wanting him. But surely if he has a love of the club. The last offer I saw with bonuses etc. Was a lot better than the miserable contract he has now.
But at 19 , well trained with prospects, he'd appreciate the higher basic and bonuses that add up.
We could recoup our 100 mill outlay with his sale. But she he plays all out with his heart and sweats for the team I can't help that think he belongs here.

If the dopey cunts running the club reach the point of signing a contract, it will be for at least double, if not treble, the £25k

And were I his agent, I would have the cunts backdate the payline to when it could have been £25k

Evra, Carroll, Reid, Antonio, ♿. plenty more, all contributing very little, pay him

Re: Rice. Surely the final offer he received was reasonable?
This saga is really beginning to piss me off! We must have the most inept man management philosophy creeping down from the top in the whole league!

Rice has been in the first 11 for the thick end of 2 seasons now so it's pretty much a certainty.

And yet the powers that be wont give him a decent contract. He's only going to improve, if you fuck about now he will think nothing of going if/when a decent offer comes along.

How much were we paying Evra last season, so that we could get him fit for his summer holidays
How much are we paying Nasri now while we get him fit and ready to assess performance for the last part of the season, where if reports are right he'll be on £80k a week

We splash money around on a whim and a gamble when it suits but when it comes to one of the best prospects we've had since the Lampard, Defoe, Carrick, Ferdinand, Cole era we fuck about like a non league club.

Fucking bullshit so get it sorted you pair of Wankers!

He’s one of the first names on the team sheet these days.

He’s playing like a man, so he should be paid like a man.

as I said earlier, I think foden signed a longer deal this week at £30k a week and he's still only 18 (19 in may)

Anybody who thinks a footballer's ' love of his club ' would in any way stop him trying to better himself is deluded.

Re: Rice. Surely the final offer he received was reasonable?
If he was happy with 25k per week then pay it. He’s our best player this season and the future of our club. It may not be ideal to lavish such a young player with such high wages so soon but he’s holding all the cards and we don’t have a choice.

How much do you think we’ll be paying Nasri? How much do we pay other players who our always out injured? At least tie him down to a long term contract so he doesn’t fuck off for peanuts when he eventually and probably inevitably does.

I'd love to know how the dwarves came up with the alleged appearance based deal for rice after throwing silly money at ♿ in the summer

Club fucked up massively in the summer by offering peanuts. Now the kid is playing every week and a vital part of the side his stock is only rising. The longer he waits the more he can demand

If the club fuck this up they will be forgiven. West Ham London is all about extra seats and PANCAKES now. Nobody will do anything and continue to line the owners pockets

Re: Rice. Surely the final offer he received was reasonable?
I wasn't having a pop, I think he's worth more than £30m to us but I was just thinking of the market and how it usually fucks us when selling our better players. how much did they offer him per week? I know foden at man city agreed a new deal this week worth £30m a week (not sure if there's extras on top of that?). I don't think that sort of figure would be out of the question, especially as they've been throwing millions at the geordie sidenote for the last few years

Re: Rice. Surely the final offer he received was reasonable?
Ok I'm a silly cunt. But he does his job better than alot of other players who have worn claret and blue. With a recognised potential and talent. The silly cunts will be the ones selling him.
